Reception and engagement looks sit between bridal and party makeup: more sculpted and photograph-ready than a party face, lighter and more contemporary than full bridal. Two hours covers complete makeup and hairstyling, matched to your outfit and the event's lighting — indoor evening receptions and their warm stage light are a specific skill our artists plan for.
This is also the standard booking for the groom's side, close family at weddings, sangeet nights, and anniversary celebrations — any event where photos will outlive the evening.
What to expect
The artist confirms your outfit and reference looks in advance, then works through skin prep, base, eyes, lips and hair over about two hours at your address. Draping assistance is included if needed. The look is set for a long evening — dancing included — and the artist leaves you lipstick-touch-up ready.

How is this different from party makeup?
Longer session, more sculpted base and eye work, hairstyling included by default, and setting built for stage light and hundreds of photos. Party makeup is the lighter, faster sibling.
Can you match a look from Instagram or Pinterest?
Send references at booking — artists genuinely prefer having them. They'll adapt the look to your features rather than photocopying it.
What time should the artist arrive?
Ready-time minus about 2.5 hours is comfortable. For a 7 pm reception, a 4–4:30 pm start means no rushing.
Do you cover the groom too?
Yes — grooms increasingly book a light HD base and hair for photographs. It's subtle and it shows in every album.
